Following are the instructions for submitting your songs. Please be sure to follow them carefully to be taken seriously as a professional songwriter.

SONG SUBMISSION POLICY / INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Send us your best 3 songs only on preferably CD, CDR, or High-Bias Cassette with Dolby noise reduction. If the songs are on a commerical release, please include the commercial release as well. Send your material to:

2. Include a brief one-page typewritten description of your material highlighting any important information about you, the band, or the material. This may include the genre(s) the songs could be classified as or similar artist(s) reference (i.e. it sounds like the Doors meets REM). You may also include information about any commercial releases the songs appear on, any previous commercial release you have material on in general, upcoming performances, artist or band biographical information, etc.

3. Include typewritten lyric sheets for each song that is on the submission.

4. You agree and understand that ALL MATERIAL SENT BY YOU TO 56 RED MUSIC PUBLISHING, INC., WILL NOT BE RETURNED. DO NOT SEND ANYTHING YOU WANT RETURNED SUCH AS UNREPLACEABLE COPIES, UNREPLACABLE PHOTOS, ETC.

5. Please understand that we get inundated with song submissions and it is nearly impossible to respond to everyone while at the same time doing the best job possible for the songwriters we currently represent. If you do not receive a response from us or you receive a "pass" on your material, do not be discouraged. Continue perfecting your songs, continue mastering your craft, and continue submitting your songs to companies that can help develop your career like 56 Red Music Publishing. It doesn't help your career if the only people that have heard your music are your family and your neighbors. There may be many reasons why we may pass on a song. If you want to get an idea of what we are looking for, turn on any radio station and listen to the songs at the top of the charts. The songs you hear are what you are competing with and it is those top notch star songwriters with which we will be comparing your work to.

6. By writing the words "SITE SUBMISSION" on the outside of the package in the address you indicate to us that you have read, understand and agree to our "Submission Policies" as defined herein. Please keep in mind that NO MATERIALS WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU.
